Our newest completed project is the expansion of the Fish Creek Thoroughfare, in Montgomery County, Texas. Bleyl Engineering provided civil engineering design for the project, to expand the two-lane road into a four-lane boulevard, with turn lanes. Bleyl Engineering also provided aerial video updates throughout the entire construction process. Be sure to watch the video.

On September 11th, Bleyl Engineering met with Montgomery County MUD District No. 9 to discuss bond authorization, Catahoula water wells, sewer system repairs, wastewater treatment plant expansion, drainage improvements, and other non construction costs.

Constructed Fire Station facilities, including site procurement, programming, design and construction management. The new facility provides protection for this valuable equipment that provides services for half of Liberty County, which is mostly rural in nature. Completed facility provides emergency response capability not previously available by the inclusion of a propane powered emergency generator and weather protected work spaces. Coordinated funding though the General Land Office of Texas (GLO) through their Hurricane Ike Recovery finding initiative. Managed multiple approving and supporting agencies including GLO, HUD, TCEQ and Texas Railroad Commission and Liberty County.

The SJRA constructed a 30 million gallon per day membrane water treatment plant on the Lake Conroe dam. In cooperation with a partner team, performed constructability design review and construction management of over 16 miles of transmission piping (12 inch to 60 inch diameter) and 10 water receiving facilities around the City of Conroe and Montgomery County.  Construction included a 125 foot tall standpipe for system pressure maintenance. Supported completion of seven additional receiving facilities and large diameter transmission pipes along McCaleb road and Fishcreek Thoroughfare. Managed startup activities for six major clients receiving the surface water.

Development of approximately 248 acres by the Conroe Industrial Development Corporation as a technology park located on FM 1484 in Montgomery County Texas.  Services provided for this project include design  and construction management of water distribution, wastewater collection, storm sewer and detention and pavement improvements.  Project completed in 2012 at an approximate construction cost of $12,000,000.  Served as overall project manager for all infrastructure improvements.

Demolition and removal of existing park site grading with utilities, paving, pavilion and restroom buildings, landscaping, irrigation, basketball and tennis courts, playground equipment and spray ground, water re use system, general park furniture and electrical work including a photo voltaic system. Project is located on Maplewood Drive in Shenandoah, Montgomery County Texas. The project was completed in 2015 at an approximate construction cost of $2,314,254.49.

Consisted of a 1200 GPM Jasper Well and a 1750 GPM Catahoula Well, along with a 300,000 gallon elevated storage tank and diesel generator.

Provided design and coordination with the Texas Department of Transportation to deepen proposed detention ponds to retain stormwater and provide a constant water surface to serve as an amenity to a major gateway into the City of Conroe.  Work required review of existing pond designs and hydraulic analysis along Alligator creek to ensure proposed improvements did not change the floodplain and runoff mitigating functions of the ponds

Bleyl Engineering was responsible for design and agency approval of the site improvements. Throughout this process, we coordinated with Kirksey Architecture, E.E. Reed (the contractor), and Archway Properties, who managed this project for Geosouthern. The project had an aggressive schedule to get the owner moved back into the newly renovated building and parking garage by the end of the year, then the rest of the project continued into the summer.

Geosouthern expanded their headquarters located on a 4-acre site in The Woodlands to include a new office building, fitness center and parking garage. All existing pavement was demolished and reconstructed including a new, additional driveway connecting to Six Pines Drive for fire lane access. Accessibility between buildings and handling surface drainage were key issues.

Bleyl Engineering provided civil site design services for The Reserve at Lake Conroe, a recreational vehicle and cottage development.  The project is located adjacent to Old Montgomery Road on Lake Conroe.

Improvements consisted of private drives, resort cottages, water and sanitary facilities, and  access to lake amenities.  Bleyl Engineering coordinated with LMA Design to accommodate the landscape and tree preservation plan.

The civil portion of the project included creating a site layout, a site grading plan, drainage analysis, storm water pollution prevention plan, and water and sanitary design.  Bleyl Engineering coordinated with Entergy on placement of electrical facilities and the City of Conroe to extend both water and sanitary service.  The initial phase of the project was permitted through Montgomery County, and the remaining sections are through the City of Conroe.
